How to become a Goal Minded Teacher



This image is not only a symbol. It is actually very close to the to-do list I usually keep on my desk.

I've always thought I needed something to help me not to forget things... but now that I'm actually reflecting about it, it could also be a way of breaking down my general professional goals into smaller daily or weekly goals.

Like many of my fellow teachers I have a long list of activities to be carried out and deadlines to be met (tests, lesson plans, professional development) and time is never enough. Motivation is certainly a key factor when it comes to getting involved in activities like the challenges of this #EduGoalsMOOC. So forgive me if I will sometimes choose to select the most interesting or change the way I complete the tasks; I think this is part of being a goal-minded teacher.
